This year has been one of reflection and redefinition—an exploration of identity through the lens of menswear.
In designing this collection, I was inspired by the concept of gender envy and how it has influenced personal expression. I drew heavily from the way women dressed in the 2010s—there was a confidence and elegance that deeply resonated with me. I wanted to channel that feeling into clothing that I define as chic, while also responding to the broader social and economic climate we’re living in.
In times of uncertainty, I believe it’s essential to hold on to our core values: a sense of self, dignity, and personal truth. Expression becomes our form of defense—our way of maintaining authority over our narratives.
“Joann D’Arc” is a collection about self-defense through style—about reorganizing values and reclaiming identity.
