Personal suggestion sizing from Kendrick:

These are lower rise jeans and with this fabric, I would suggest to measure around closer to your hips. I (Kendrick) typically wear a size 29 to size 30 and I wear a 31 for this style and fabric. I wear a 30 for the Red Mahogany velvet flock denims with the same cut. The fabric is a lightweight fabric and such the cut is much closer to body. Overall suggestion, size up 1 if you have bigger hips or get true to size.
